Name	Disco Reflection
Mischa	It was very fun but hot. People were crowding around in circles. They were pushing, when I got out I saw the place empty. Nearly everyone was in the circle.
Ngakiri	It was very fun and I enjoyed it,  some people were pushing and running. People were crowding around me.That’s why I could not move around properly.
Chanel	It was so cool because Valerie had a dance off, it was amazing. Everyone was shouting so loudly I couldn’t even hear my friends. There were people pushing and kicking, it wasn’t cool. Valerie rocked it when she was dancing.
Juanita	At the disco we had a girl vs boys dance and no girls went in the middle to dance. Then Valerie went in and showed everyone how it's done followed by Corrina and. I was dancing like there was tomorrow.
Jasmine	At the disco, it was amazing. Lots of people were dancing, shouting and running all over the place. Then people started making circles every time when boys broke it up. I have been wandering around waiting for my favourite song to play. When my favourite song came up, I was dancing like crazy. Then there was a battle against boys and girls. It was lots of fun.
Valerie	It was very fun and I enjoyed it. Everyone was kicking, running and pushing. Whaea Lois stopped it. Codice and I had a dance competition. Codice said bring it on then I started dancing crazy and everybody were saying go Codice.
Texas	When it was the disco I had so much fun  because I was dancing. My best song was Nae Nae.
Tarla	We had so much fun. We played some songs options Whip and Nae Nae, That’s what I like(etc). We played the game follow the leader. We had a dance competition between Candice and Valerie. Valerie was dancing her hardest. Mischa, Sofia, Juanita, Christine, Valerie and I were dancing our hardest. Everyone was screaming, running and singing. Whaea Lois was singing and dancing with Codice. She said we could have another disco in the future. It was super duper fun.
Jerome	Today it was very fun because we went to the disco party. When I went inside everyone was screaming and crazy. After that I saw my brother. I was dancing with him, my friend Jayden and my other friend Zack. After that the song was Whip,option and that’s what I like. After that the bell rang and we all went to class.
Cedrick	Today all of us went to the disco, it was fun well we were waiting the bell rang so we ran. While we were running we saw people running left right and center. When we got there it was hot and dry. I kept sweating. Luke went out because he said it was boring.While I was dancing, I bumped into some friends. I was so excited it was cool meeting old friends and new friends. We did follow the leader it was fun.
Padilla	Today was a delightful day, we were all excited about the disco. When the bell rang we all ran as fast as CHEETAHS to the hall. We listened to heaps of music it was so much fun.
VJ	Today we had a disco with all our friends. It was at lunch time. When the bell went we ran like zombies. Everyone ran as fast as lightning. When we got there we all sat down. Whaea Lois was talking and then we all danced.

Name	Reflection: How did it go? Did you learn anything new?
Mischa	It was awesome, I learnt how to tap and score a goal. We were playing snake and a fun relay.
Ngakiri	It was amazing, I learnt how to throw the ball left and right. Then we all were having races. It was lots of fun we hope we will do that again.
Jasmine	It was fantastic, I learnt how to score a goal and how to pass the ball. I love seeing people having fun at turbo touch. We played a game that you have to follow the person that has the ball. When the whistle blows, you have to go in a circle and do a course.
Jerome	Today it was really awesome because we were playing turbo touch. First we have to get in five groups. What I learnt is how to score a goal and how to pass the ball. The snake game was fun and crazy because everyone was running around like silly animals.and it was fun.
Chanel	I learnt that in the score zone you can’t put your feet in, first you put the ball in then step in it. We had a fantastic day and it ended well.
Christine	It was fun because we learnt something new like we have to pass the ball and catch the ball. It was so much fun.
Carl	When we played turbo touch, we learnt how to pass and how to score a try.We also played snake head but izaak wanted to cheat on the game so i said cheater play fear.We also played defenders and attackers and it was weird.
Juanita	It was really interesting seeing everyone working as a team and trying their best. I learnt that you have to pass the ball at least once before you can score a goal.
Cedrick	Today was fun we played turbo touch. The rules were don’t  just drop the ball you must stop place ball down and put your hands in the air. It was a fun game. While we were playing, there were two people that got hurt. It looked painful so the teacher said to just keep playing and they will take care of it. So we just played this game was something called snake. It is where you have to get in four lines. Another game is about an attacking team and a defending team. There were three runners and three defenders. The attackers had to get a goal while the defenders had to tag them.when we first came on the field and saw her she said to run around the cones some cheated and some didn't. But then we had to leave it was fun but well we left we got a high five from the teacher.
Tarla	I’ve learnt how to score a goal and how to pass a ball. We did some races, I have learnt how to pass a ball. We learnt the rules of playing turbo touch. It was super duper fun, it was fantastic.
Texas	When it was turbo touch, it was fun because I scored a try. Man that was the best day of my life because I played with my classmates and that was cool.
Padilla	I learnt something new. I learnt how to score a goal, tap the ball, pass the ball forward back and side. I had a fantastic time at turbo touch. We played a snake game.
Frelex	I learnt about passing the ball and scoring a try.
Esther	It was stupendous! The whale game was new to me. I had heaps of fun and learnt as I went!
VJ	When we went to Turbo Touch I learned that you can pass forward, backward, left and right. The Snake game was a cool game that you play with your friends. You get into a line and the front person has the ball.The front person is the head of the snake.You can run everywhere until the coach blows the whistle twice.You get into a circle then you put the ball on the ground. Put your hands up and touch the ball then after that grab the ball and pass it to your left.
Luke	The snake game and turbo touch is better than touch.  Turbo touch is easier than touch.
Valerie	It was amazing, I  learnt  how  to  play  turbo  touch. l  didn't  know  that we  can  pass  the  ball  backward,  forward  and  sideways.

Reading Eggs Trophy

Our term 2 has started off really well. We won the Reading Eggs trophy at assembly. Well done to the students that go onto Reading Eggs regularly and complete the assigned tasks.

Name	How did you celebrate Mother’s Day? Did you do anything special for your mum?
Esther	For Mother's Day my family and I went to Carl's JR. We had a delicious lunch and it filled us up! For breakfast my Dad did some cooking. He made bacon and hash browns. After that we went to Bunnings. It was pretty boring but on our way out I got a Lollipop.
Luke	For Mother's Day I made  a card. I watched movies with my aunt, uncle, brothers and sister. We ate noodles for dinner. My siblings and I played on the phone The game was Clash of Clans. Then the phones were all flat so we had to watch the movies.
Tarla	On Mother’s Day my brother and I went to a jewelry store to buy my mom a watch. My brothers and sisters made a card for her and we also bought her 3 blocks of chocolate and a lolly lay. When my mom was putting on the watch she started crying. We had dinner at my auntie's house and we also swam. When we got there we could see my dad stand next to this Toyota. So we asked our dad who was it for and he said it was for mom. We were in shock. My mom took a look at it and when she found out it was hers, she started crying alot. Everyone finished eating and were getting exhausted. While we were driving back my mom said it was the best Mother’s Day she ever had. We got back home took off our shoes and fell asleep.
Jasmine	On Mother’s Day,  our family and I went to church to hear about what's special about mothers. I didn’t know anything else because my brother and I were at Sunday school. At Sunday school I made a special card for my mum Louise. After church I gave my card to her. She said, “ oh thank you Jasmine I love you.” When we got home, I decided that we should do some baking and make fun things. We tried making fluffy slime but we failed two times. Then my mum tried putting them together, they failed and made a big mess. At least we had fun.
VJ	For Mother’s Day we went to my cousins house and had a party. We had chocolate, chips and fizzy drinks. After I woke up we went home, had Mcdonald’s and went to sleep. At 05.00 we brushed our teeth. My Mum was still asleep then she woke up at 07.00 and we made her yummy breakfast. We showed our appreciation for her working and looking after us. We went to the mall to buy some clothes for my mum.
Mischa	For Mother's Day we did a party at night with my mums friends and family. We had chicken, pizza, chocolate and much more. My mum, family and my mums friends went to watch a movie in the living room but I could not watch it since it was school. I had been hiding the thing that she wanted, “A Diamond Necklace and a diamond ring.” My mum wanted it so I bought it for her. My mum opened the necklace and ring she was so happy it was the best day ever.
Chanel	For Mother’s Day we made my mum french toast, pancakes and hot chocolate. After we had breakfast and watched movies. Then my mum went for a sleepover at her mums house, I  went with her to. While she and I were at her mums house, my dad and my brothers were setting up a party for her. When we came home they surprised her so we gave all the cards we made.
Christine	On Mother’s Day my mum, sister and I  went to Carl's Junior. When we got there my sister ordered my mum and I a chicken burger. We also ate some yummy fish and chips.
Juanita	On Mother's Day my older brother and I were going to make my mum a mug with clay and my nephews hand print. So we put it in the oven and went to Pandora to buy her a bracelet. When we went back home, the mug was over cooked so we gave her the bracelet and a chocolate. My uncle came over and made a bbq. He went to play basketball and when he came back the bbq was finished. At 7:00 my mum went out for dinner with my brother Jamie and she came back with a lot of information. Everyone was so jealous.

Our Catchup Ripper Session

What an amazing session. The weather was totally awesome. Our team names were called Rotten Bananas and Fruit Loops. Our coach changed the rules to suit the girls. If a girl scored, she earned 10 points and if a boy scored he earned 1 point. The score was 7-10. Tarla scored one try and that meant the Fruit Loops ended up with 10. Other tries were scored by Taylor, Padilla and Izaya.
