Christmas Gift

Name	What is the one gift you just have to have this year for Christmas? Describe it.
Darius	For Christmas I would like a remote control car that goes really fast. It should have lights at the front that works so my cat and dog can run after it. For my other present I want a playstation 4 that turns on when you touch it. It should have a controller that is red and black.
Frelex	For Christmas I would like a Mac book that is blue because I need it to do my homework and so I can have free time. I would also like a phone so when I’m in danger I can call my family.
Esther	I would love to have a desktop computer because I want to become a gamer. The background will be like mine on the chrome books ( a shetland sheepdog), my favourite game or my favourite Youtuber. I’ll prefer the colour of the desktop to be red, but if there isn’t any of the colour that’s available, I’ll settle with black. The desktop will have a big screen so I will be able to see the whole span of the game. I’d like the top to be big enough to have a camera on it so I could have my face in the game. Speaking of which, I’d also adore having a camera and, like I mentioned before, have it on the computer so my facial expressions could be seen. I’d like to have a desk as well you(y should know why) to put my computer on. I would love it to be a smooth, wooden desk that would be big enough to store food when I’m scared in a horror game (I could just eat my fears away). It will probably be recommended to have a chair to obviously sit on. It would match the other equipment or it could be blue.
Jasmine	A gift I would love is a macbook because I will use it to do some of the work that miss had send me. Not only that but to watch movies and play games with my friends and family. I want the colour of the macbook to be purple.
Taylor	I just want a dirt bike for Christmas so I can wheelie on it.
Izaak	I would really like a chromebook for Christmas so I can play Roblox. I want a big grey chromebook from Acer.
Mischa	For Christmas I would really love to get a Macbook just like my teachers one but gold in coloured. I could watch Youtube and play games on there.
Texas	A Christmas present I want this year is a nerf gun. I would like my nerf gun to be light green because it is my favorite colour. I want it to be as long as my arm.
Suan	I want to have a remote control car, a Drone, a bike, a PS4 and lego too. I want a PS4 because I can play games. I want a bike because I can ride with my brother. This is why I want a remote control car, I can play with my brother that’s what I want for Christmas.
Sione	I want a Ps4 because I can play games and watch movies and want it black as usual. I would love to have a trampoline because it is really fun. I would like it shaped like a circle and want it to be large. My favourite present that I want for Christmas is that I want a nerf gun and I would like it to be light green.That is all I want for Christmas.
Ngakiri	A gift I would love for Christmas is a puppy that’s cute, fluffy, black and white. This puppy will always play with me when I’m bored. The third thing I would like for a gift is paint that you can mix into a lot of different colours. The fourth thing I would like is a pencil case with a notebook and pens from Smiggle.
Jerome	A gift that I would really like for Christmas is a laptop that has lots of buttons, a big screen and the colour can be red or silver. I would really like a silver one because it is my favourite colour. I will do my homework.
Luke	I want to have a puppy, a new PS4 and the last thing I want is money. I want a puppy because I can play with it. I will spend with my money on an iPad, laptop and a phone.
Christine	What I want for Christmas is a computer. I can do my homework, spelling and writing.
Valerie	A gift I would love for Christmas is a puppy. It would have brown eyes, white or brown skin. The reason why I want a puppy is because I haven't had one yet. I’ve only had a cat. My second gift would be a electric scooter, it would be pink and black.
Justis	On Christmas I want a bike that is dark blue and yellow.
Padilla	A present that I really want is a PS4 so I can play games and watch movies on Netflix. I could also watch Youtube and make my own profile but I need a card to sign in.There are different kinds of PS4 system. The colour I want for my PS4 is maroon because it’s a cool colour. For my controllers I would like it to be blue because it’s my favourite colour.

Amelia	What I want for Christmas is a Samsung Galaxy. I would like a slime set and I want the colour purple. I would really like a pet dog and I want it to be German Shepard. That is all I want for Christmas.
VJ	What I really want is a PS4 pro that is coloured black and red with 3 black and yellow controllers. On the PS4 I could watch Youtube and watch movies on Netflix with my family. I would also like to get a baby German Shepherd so I can teach him from a baby to an adult.
Carl	For Christmas I want a remote control car so I can have fun playing with my cat. My second present will be a remote control helicopter so I can watch it fly around. My third home honey don't present would be a Telescope because at night I want to see stars and other planets. My fourth presents is a PS4 so I can download games and watch Youtube. My last present is a bike so it will be better than walking.

This week the Year 5's participated in Education Outside the Classroom. Here are some of the exciting events that we did.

On Monday, we hopped onto the bus and headed off to the Stardome Observatory and Planetarium. Our main focus topic was based on Earth and our Solar System. We were divided into two groups. One group went into the planetarium for a night sky presentation and to view a feature show on Wildest Weather in the Solar System.

The other group had fun with their friends on the playground. The most popular attractions were the flying fox and the train.

On Tuesday, the Rockup Adventures turned up at our school. Most students did Rock Climbing for the first time. It was an amazing experience for them. They challenged themselves and their fear of height. Teamwork was encouraged for them to be successful.

On Wednesday, we walked to the Manurewa Pool and Leisure Centre. We stopped at Spider web park for a bit of a breather and morning tea. We then headed off to the pools. Students demonstrated their swimming skills that they learnt during term 1 and term 4.

On Thursday, we had school based activities. We had three rotations: tennis, t ball and cycling. The most popular one was cycling of course. We also made yummy, healthy sandwiches for lunch.

On Friday, we spent the morning chilling in the school pool, playing basketball and biking around the school. For lunch, we created our own hamburgers. We then watched movies, ate popcorn and ice cream.
