Re-crafting our Writing Session

We have really enjoyed doing Super Writing on a regular basis. Our words per minute have increased drastically. Our next step was to re-craft our writing and make it better. We used editing pencils to check our writing. Our goal was to proofread our writing to find and correct spelling and punctuation errors. We then had to re-craft our writing to improve the content and message. Our best Super Writing samples were published. Thank you to our writing buddies for helping us with this task.

Fun Run

We had been practicing hard out for our Fun Run. Every morning we had to run 3 laps around the school. The big day had finally arrived. It was a beautiful sunny morning. We had to run 5 laps for the main event. The money raised will be used towards our Year 6 Camp and our Year 5 EOTC (Education Outside the Classroom) activities in term 4.

Our Completed Art Work

Our session with Mr Anand was amazing. We learnt about tessellation and reflection by watching videos and doing hands on activities. The artist that inspired us was M.C. Escher. Here are our completed pieces of artwork. Thanks Mr Anand.
